Spotlight on Hugo Panczak

While watching an episode of “UFO” I spied Hugo. Sadly he doesn’t speak or even smile in the episode and doesn’t even have a name, known only as Mobile Operative, but he sure looks good. It took a bit of research to even find out his name (non-speaking roles don’t usually get credited).

His name is Hugo Panczak from Poland (I believe). He had a number of small roles on British television in the 60s but appears to have moved back to Poland and given up acting unfortunately. I was able to find a better photo from his appearance on the show “The Champions”. He does get to speak this time but sadly gets murdered before the opening credits. He is one of three Austrian students diving in a lake in search of Nazi treasure. There is a brief long shot of Hugo changing out of his wet suit but unfortunately you don’t get to see much.

There’s something sexy about a polo neck jumper and Hugo certainly wears it well.

Whatever Hugo is doing these days, I hope he is happy and well.
